I have shelves full of books and I keep on buying them. I love reading all kinds of fiction and non fiction.
The advantage with free ebooks is that I can download them at no cost and read whenever I have time.
If there is a book I particularly like then I can buy it online from Amazon too at a much cheaper price than most book stores!
If you are not sure if you would like a certain book then Amazon also allows you to look inside it and read the first few chapters.
That way you can tell by reading a few pages online whether you want to continue reading the book by downloading it free.
That is the beauty of the internet. All the masterpieces that have been written by so many genius writers can now be enjoyed by anyone. And it will not cost us a penny.

Voted useful and up! I love getting free ebooks from Amazon. I don't have a Kindle, but I do have Kindle For PC. I have downloaded over 80 books to my computer! I do want a Kindle Fire, but this will do until then. After I get one, I can transfer what I've already downloaded!

Great suggestions here- this is the main way I've built up my ebook collection. Can you believe all the Sherlock Holmes stories by Doyle are free? And most of the Tarzan novels by Burroughs? Amazon is a great source, but don't forget the Gutenberg Project.
