Google.com allows you to add their Google widgets of Video Bar and Search Control to your websites or blogs free.
Even as a complete beginner to webpage and blog design you can give your readers the experience of watching YouTube videos straight from your site with these easy to use Widgets.
What are these Google Widgets and how are they used?
Widgets are made up of HTML and JavaScript that can be customized by the beginner and are easy to add to their webpage or Blog. At the moment the two widgets available are Video Bar and the Video Search Control.
Google Video Bar
By inserting Google Video Bar onto your webpage you will have YouTube videos that are customized to relate to the website or blog content that you have created. The reader can watch these YouTube videos without leaving your website.
Google Video Search Control
By inserting Google Video Search Control you will give your readers the ability to search through the whole of the YouTube website. But they will only be able to access videos that have the customized content you have set. Your readers can watch these videos without leaving your website or blog
Google.com has mad these easy to understand Google Widgets for the beginner
All you have to do to activate these amazing widgets on to your webpages, websites and blogs is fill in the Google form. Add the tabs and info on the video subjects you want and Google will supply you with the code needed. Then you only have to copy and paste this to activate your personal widget that displays only the YouTube videos you want your readers to see.

I have given detailed easy to follow instructions below for those of you who only have the basic understating of computer programming. Even if you are a beginner you too can make full use of the Google widget that allows readers to access the YouTube videos from any website, Blog or webpage that you have created.
Instructions: Add the Google Widget Video Bar to your Webpage
Google Video Bar
By customizing the video bar you can decide whether you have a strip of YouTube videos displayed vertically or horizontally on your webpage or Blog. You also decide what videos will appear there.
If you are using this widget and have Google ads on your page then you are only allowed to display videos that contain the same content as your webpage or blog. This is easy to do as you will see with the Video Bar Wizard below. How many videos do you want to display on your page and what size will they be? You decide!

This is the form below that you will see. It asks a few simple questions so that you can customize your widget. Once this is done the Google Video Bar Wizard will write the code for you. That is Google for you! It is easy to understand, easy to apply and free.

YouTube Channels
There is aempty box here: Type in a specific channel of your favorite user and their videos will only appear.
The same applies to your own YouTube videos. If you want multiple channels just separate with a comma.
Search Expressions
These are tags that you can enter here. The same applies as above. You can enter one tag or a number of tags separated by commas.
I find that one word tags work best.
You have finished customizing your widget. That was easy!
You are now prompted to Add code to your site.
There is a button to the right of this that says Show Code. Press this button and you will see your customized widget appear. It will look like this.

How to copy the code Google has generated from your form.
I have only copied a small amount of code here for copyright reasons but when you do this for real you will see the full amount.
Copy this code by shading and pressing down the Ctrl button and the letter C on your keyboard.
How to enter this code on to a webpage or blog.
On your website or blog you will see an icon that reads Enter HTML. Click on this and an empty box will appear. Paste the Widget code here.
To do this Hold down the Ctrl button and press the letter V on the keyboard. This will paste the code into the box. Close the box and save.
Google Blogs.
If the blogs you have created are from Google Blogs then the task is made even easier. Click on the Add a Gadget button. Go to Add HTML and click. Copy and paste your code as above and press save.
You have uploaded YouTube videos on to your website or blog!
Google Video Search Control Wizard
How to add the Google Video Search Control to your webpage.
By using the Google Video Bar you can add videos to your website or blog. But there is a limited amount that you can put on your webpage.
To give your readers extra choice and to make your site more interesting and interactive you can add the Google Video Search Control.
By inserting the video search control your readers will be able to search through the whole of the YouTube website for many videos on your chosen subjects through your added tags.
They can do this and watch these videos without leaving your website or blog.

You will see an empty box where you can enter the tag or tags of your chosen subjects that you will allow your readers to search for. If you are using more than one tag make sure to separate with commas.
Once you have entered the tags there is a button that allows you to preview the videos that will be generated from your tags. If you do not like the videos just change the tags and have another look.
Tell us about your web site
You will see an empty box where you are prompted to enter the URL of your website or blog.
Generate code for your web page
There is a button here that says, ‘Generate Code’. Click this and Google wizard has written your code for you. Copy this code by shading the code and pressing down the Ctrl button and the letter C on your keyboard.
How to enter this code on to a webpage or blog.
On your website or blog you will see an icon that reads Enter HTML. When you click on the icon you will bring up an empty box. This is where you should paste the Video Search Control code that you copied earlier.
Hold down the Ctrl button and press the letter V on the keyboard. This will paste the code into the box. Close the box and save.
You have now added the Google widget that allows your readers to search and watch YouTube videos on your website or blog,

Extremely informative hub. I've got clients asking me constantly to do youtube site updates and video embeds and the process is so simple. I should direct them here for all the info they need. Typically, we add playlists to a site and once we do that, the client can simply update their videos and add anything they want to the playlist. Using youtube really isn't difficult, but people don't take the time to read instructions. So all in all, this hub would be terrific and I will point some of my clients here in the future.
