What is Google Sky and Google Mars?

These are free applications within Google Earth that Google allows all users on the internet to access if they wish to explore the stars, planets, galaxies, constellations and galaxies online from their own home.

You can see images from Google Sky in 3D.

So far Google have made available to us over 100 million stars and 200 million galaxies. Included with Google Earth is an in-depth exploration of the Planet Mars and the Moon.

There is so much data, photos and information on the Moon and Mars that they have their own Applications within Google Earth.

How to download and access Google Sky on your laptop computer

If you have already accessed the Google Earth free download 2010 on your laptop then you need only to click on the Sky icon. This will bring you to the main Google Earth homepage. Scroll down and click on the Google Sky icon.

If you do not have Google Earth on your laptop then just search for www.google.com/sky. This will bring you directly to the Sky application.

Explore the stars, planets and galaxies of the universe.

You can now start to view all the planets, galaxies and stars in the Universe for free. The views and features are exactly the same in both applications. But Google Sky can be viewed in twenty six different languages and can be used from any web browser and operating system.

How have Google collected these images?

We can view these awesome images from Google Sky because they have been collected from Hubble Space Telescope, NASA satellites, other satellites orbiting our Earth, Digital Sky Survey and the Sloan Digital Sky Survey.

Copyright of Google Images

Photos

There is an opportunity to use the awesome photos and Google images on your own Blogs and Websites. Google.com owns the copyright of all images.

But Google has given permission for users of their Sky, Mars, Moon and Earth Applications to add images to their blogs and websites as long as the user gives proper credit to Google. This is a fair and excellent exchange.

Adding a link

If you wish to add a link to anything you have found while searching and viewing Google Sky then this is made very easy for you.

You can share your experience with readers of your blogs and websites. There is a ‘Link to this page’ on Google Sky where you just have to click and you automatically get the html.

Google Mars

There really is a fantastic amount of information from Mars that you have access to straight from your laptop here too.

We are lucky that we have had many successful space explorations to Mars. We therefore have lots of images, information and photos from this planet.

Google Mars gives us the opportunity to see these images that were recorded from spaceships such as the Spacecraft MRO which orbited Mars and other spacecraft that landed on Mars.

These were the two Exploration Rovers called 'Spirit' and 'Opportunity'. These two machines continue to drive around the surfice of the planet Mars collecting data, images and photos.

Google Sky

If you are interested in viewing the stars, planets, galaxies and all things in our Universe then go to Google Sky. This is all free if you have access to the internet on your laptop computer.

So why not have a look for yourself and see if you find the images, photos and information available as awesome as I do.

Google Sky is amazing. There is so much to see and explore with the amount of stars, planets, galaxies and all things in our Universe.

Google Mars and Google Moon are really worth taking an internet trip to.
