Google Body Download: How To Use Google Body Browser

Google Body Download is available free.
Google have produced a new application that allows you to go inside the human body and have a look around in 3D.
This is awesome stuff!

You can have a look at how this 3D medical body browser will work on a YouTube Video.
They are amazing because they show in detail just what you can do with it.
The videos are below for you to quickly and easily open and view.
Instead of taking an online trip down any street like you can with Street View, Google Body Browser lets you take a trip around the body.
You can study the human anatomy in great detail. When you open up this new application you will see a body of a female that has clothes and skin.
The male body is also due to be added soon
Skin bones and muscles of the body
You can look at different layers of the human body very quickly and easily. On the left is your navigation bar that allows you to travel inside the body. You start off with the body with clothes and skin. Then you can go deeper and see the bones and muscles.
Organs, veins and arteries of the body
Then further to the organs, after that you can look at the veins and arteries. Then you can look at the nerves. Once you are looking at a body part you just have to move the curser to it and click. The name of the body part will appear.
Google Zoom and Google Search of the body
You can also take a better look by zooming in to the image whether it is organs, muscles, bones, nerves, blood vessels etc.
If you know what you are looking for then you can use the Google Body Search box. Just type in the name and you will be brought directly to what you want. You can also rotate the body 360 degrees.
Google has developed a new internet technology called WebGL.
The Google Body can be seen in all its three dimensional glory on any computer that has Google Chrome 9 beta, Chrome 9 Dev Channel, Chrome Canary Build and Firefox 4 beta installed.
This eliminates the expense of adding browser plug ins like Java or Flash.
It is yet to be officially released by Google but if you have Google Chrome 9 beta, etc or Firefox 4 beta installed you can use the Body Browser now!

So with this article and the videos I am sure you can see what this 3D Medical Body Browser is all about.
If you can not wait till the official launch you can click the links below which I have provided for you. You can then have a sneak preview of what it is capable of and take an inside trip around the human body.
You can see the body without skin so that the muscles, bones and organs are visible. You can also study the circulatory and nervous systems of the human body.
If you want a closer look you can zoom in on any of these parts of the body. To know what these parts are all you have to do is click on the labels option on the left.
This really does make learning about the body great fun. It is visually pleasing and very easy to use. It can be used by medical students for more serious and in-depth learning.
And by anyone who just wants to check out the body to see where all the organs, muscles and bones are situated in the human body.
I would recommend that everyone should have a look at Google Body at least once to see how wonderful new technology is. But I can guarantee you that once you download it you will be so impressed you will come back to it again and again.

Google is pretty immature. the body has clothing. well, honestly, the human body does not come standard with clothing google... it doesnt. if you arent mature enough to have a clothless body on the screen... then your not mature enough to take on the human body as a project.

These are FREE to download.

dr.amr: You will need to upgrade your firefox to Mozilla Firefox beta. It is free and the link is the second one that I added at the end of the article.

I've just download that one suggested by google body!!!
I still unable to view the body!!
dr.amr that's a shame you cannot see it.
I use Google chrome. If you click on the link in the last comment you will not get it. What I have to do in Google chrome is COPY and PASTE the url in to the search engine rather that clicking directly from the link above in my last comment to you, and then it brings me to the Body Browser.
Try that with your Firefox, hopefully that will work. It must have something to do with it not being fully launched yet.

1) open body browser
2) when drawing/download is complete, type into the URL bar: javascript:Oh.skin.drawGroups.pop() and press enter
3) let chrome redraw the modell if needed

I just bought a nnewtablet and I wanted to get the Google body. So I read how above about copy and pasting it.......but on my tab I don't know how to copy because there isn't a setting button that says copy. Can anyone help its very foregn to me using the touch tab...I have never owned anything like this in my life. Please help
Shade the work or in this instance the url you want to copy. On your keyboard there will be a key that says CTRL. Hold this down at the same time as the key that has the letter C on it. This will copy your work. When you want to put it some where you have to hold the CTRL key down with the key with the letter V on it. This will paste your work.
