My first HP Laptop cost me over $1,000 a few years ago, but they have gone down in price a lot since then.

This has 4 GB of memory and this is expandable to 8 GB and 320GB hard drive which is handy if you will be using and storing a lot of data.

The 14-inch widescreen is perfect for viewing movies and playing games.

It also has a HD TruBrite LED-Backlit display.

Also included is an 8x Super Multi DVD drive.

The battery life is not very long at 3.8 hours but sufficient if mostly used in the house.

This laptop weighs 5 pounds which is not bad if carrying to work or college.
